Mclaren Mercedes could replace Ferrari Prestige in F1

From the way McLaren and Mercedes are behaving at the instant, they may be well placed to benefit from a manufacturer withdrawal from F1 and so would become one of the few reference points for the teams who would proceed, along with Williams. As for the new teams coming in, I Sports Paul Jackson has given an interview to Autosport website where he talks very confidently about coming into F1 with his team, which has been very successful in GP2. But it is too soon for Brawn, for example, to be seen as the reference point for F1, despite their strong form this season.
